A 50KW system has been installed on Connors Keep north of Portsmouth as an ongoing commitment by Portsmouth City Council to green their housing stock.
The system utilised JA Solar panels mounted on an adjustable framework to maximise the installation capacity and overcome complicated positioning of chimneys and flues.
We had an enquiry from this customer who was transforming their property with not only solar but an air source heat pump at the same time. We were asked to install a flat roof system on this customer’s garden room building. We looked at the differences in generation between having the panels east facing or south facing, considering there was a fair amount of shading from the west. The software we use suggested that the panels would still be better
