EV Charging Points

Electric Vehicle Charge Points

Solar Voltaics can install a variety of charge points for domestic and commercial properties. We are approved installers for Myenergi Zappi, Tesla Wall Connector and Givenergy charge points. Government grants are still available for non-domestic properties. If you are thinking of buying an electric vehicle or decide that you need an additional charge point then contact us and we will arrange a fixed price quotation for you. We can advise you on the options available and whether there are any grants available.

Tesla Wall Connector

The Tesla Wall Connector is an efficient and convenient home charging solution that lets you plug your vehicle in overnight and start your day fully charged. Compatible with all Tesla vehicle models and any Type 2 charge port, Wall Connector offers up to 77 km or 44 miles of range per hour of charge. It is approved for indoor and outdoor installation, and is compatible with any home electrical system. It has a 7.3m charging cable and is available in single or three phase versions.

Myenergi Zappi Charge Point

Zappi charge points have optional charging modes to utilise 100% green energy generated from your Solar PV. Increasing the Return On Investment (ROI) for your panels and electric car, the Zappi is easy to install and user friendly. If you don’t have solar panels installed, the Zappi will still operate as a standard EV charger harnessing power from the grid.

Being the first-ever solar EV charger of its kind, it has carefully designed features and functions to give you complete control of your electric car charging experience. Paired with the myenergi app, you can set timers to utilise economy tariffs, use the boost function and monitor your devices. The Zappi electric car charger was conceived, evolved, and manufactured right here in the UK.

It is available in thethered and untethered options, and also in black/grey or white/grey colours. There is a single phase 7kW and three phase 22kW version to meet all property and vehicle requirements.

GivEnergy Charge Point

Whether you’ve got a full renewable setup complete with a storage battery, whether you’re grid powered, or whether you’re somewhere in between – the GivEnergy EV charger makes going electric easy. It has been made affordable, easy to install and easy to use. It’s user friendly app allows you to control when your electric vehicle is charged and how much energy you are using. It works with existing solar if available to charge your car and can monitor the usage at the same time. It has a 5m charging cable and an IP rating of 65, enabling anywhere, whether it is indoors or outdoors, to be the perfect location to be installed. It is only available in a single phase version currently but works very well with other GivEnergy solar and storage devices.
