Town Centre Offices – Dorking

Like many busy call centres and administration offices, our client was facing increasingly high energy costs and climate change levies.  The chairman of this Dorking-based insurance company had a strong desire to do all he could to generate as much green energy to support their facility and improve their carbon footprint.

After a detailed survey of the facility and their electricity consumption, the challenge was to maximise the output from the available flat roof areas. This required careful design to minimise the effects of shading from plant room structures.

A shallow pitch K2 low ballast roof mounting system was used to alleviate the need to fix through the roof membrane, allowing easy maintenance of the roof in the future, if required.
