Inverters

Inverters are one of the key components of a the Solar PV system.  It is critical that a system is designed with a correct type and specification of inverter to match the exact number and configuration of solar panels being installed.

Inverters come in different power ratings matched closely with the total installed power output of panels.  Solar Voltaics use specialist design software to ensure a perfect match and insure that your system will generate as much energy as possible from your investment.

Most of our systems perform above customers expectations.

Some inverters have a single maximum power point tracker (MPPT) – these are suitable for installations on a single roof face and with little shading.  If an installation utilises two roof faces or there is significant shading from nearby objects such as chimneys or trees, then an inverter with two MPPTs will give a higher overall power output.  We calculate the relative effects of shading for each application and will recommend the best inverter to suit.
